I have been modeling for over 5 years; I have a 6 page feature in May’s Australia magazine Ralph, a feature in UMM Canada and was recently in Playboy.

I think it is disgusting that she is trying to turn a dollar off something that she either sold to her photo agency 10 years ago ( which she had to have received money from then) or feels she can turn a few dollars now.

I have no fear; I have traveled around the world, I love sports, I heart sex. I am comfortable with my body, I am not pretentious and I want the best for everyone. I believe kindness will always win out, and also think men should at least get 3 bj’s a week from their women.

How did you react when you found out you were chosen to be a part of the Playboy family?

It’s a huge honor, an absolute dream come true. Now everyone is going to see my kitty! Wait… Family? Shit, does that mean I have to buy everyone at Playboy a Christmas gift this year?

What are your career ambitions?

Have someone pay me to eat pizza, drink beer, and play PS3 all day. (kidding, although that would be nice!). Overall I would like to work with Formula 1 in some way! (Martin Brundle; I’m coming after you mate!) I also have a love of politics, I would love to work in high level government (Though once you pose nude… People tend to see you in a different light.) I would also like to get my lingerie line off the ground… I have too much ambition to name one thing, if it’s out there, I wanna conquer it!

What do you do during your free time?

When I lived in Australia it was surfing and going to rugby games! In Canada, surfing is a little harder to find (unless you go to Tofino on the left coast), so I hit up a lot of hockey games. I just took up golf… It’s aggravating as shit, but I’ll conquer it. Maybe I can get Tigers wife to show me how to swing.

What makes you feel sexy?

Being naked. I love being naked. Being in your birthday suit gets rid of social classes, no one cares what your clothing tag says, or what kind of glasses you’re sporting. It’s when you’re at your truest, most basic self; that sexy will overcome you!

What do you find sexy in a man?

Beer bellies and belching, little to no personal hygiene, mustard stains are a plus! Ha! Honestly; kindness, humor and self love (I know that seems basic, but it’s true, it’s the little things that count). I like a guys guy. Watches sports, plays hockey/footie, drinks beers. I don’t like muscle heads or bar stars. I like a guy who is confident and has their own life and doesn’t need me to hold their hand.

What song or CD puts you in the mood?

I’ve heard of these CD things… you can put MP3’s on them right? Will it fit in my iPhone? An acoustic guitar will make me quake at the knees (even more so if it’s attached to a naked man on the edge of the bed playing me a song!!). If you can’t play the guitar, learn… soon, make it your friend! Dallas Green of City and Color is solid, either record is gem!

Men:

It’s not a video game button, don’t treat it like one. Just because you’re done, doesn’t mean your job is done yet, there might be someone else who’s wanting to meet you in pleasure town!

Women:

Don’t use sex as leverage, you know you want it as much as he does, don’t make him feel like it’s a chore to you… Cause if you start to treat it like a chore, then it will become one.

How do you keep fit? How do you exercise?

In Australia it was easier with surfing and beach volley ball. I actually just changed my fitness routine, my boyfriend started me on a little hockey training... it's pretty intense! Oh, and sex… lots and lots of sex.

What three items can't you live without?

iPhone, Black Mascara, Beer.

If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be and why?

In the pits at a Formula 1 event.

If you had the opportunity to change something about yourself, what would it be?

I’m not sure I would, even the stuff I look back on that may not have been a banner moment for me… I learnt from it, thus made me into the woman I am today. Nothing is ever really that bad in life as long as you can take something and learn from it!

Describe the best or worst date you've ever been on:

I was treated to a very lovely dinner at a very high end restaurant; the guy went all out, playing up the high roller card. He played it up a little too much when the bill came back with his credit card cut in half. With no cash to boot, I picked up the tab, and a cab ride shortly after. He never even offered to pay me back. Douchbag!

What makes a relationship great?

Passion, love, admiration, trust, not always in that order, but they’re a good start. Keeping things fresh is important. Knowing that you and your mate are going to find someone else attractive is normal, don’t hide it, talk about it, it’s amazing how an open line of communication can spice things up in the bedroom too!

How do you attract someone's attention?

I leave a trail of bread crumbs. And I pose nude for Playboy.

How do you like a man to approach you when out in public?

“Be real son,” if you come with a phony front, and I find out that it isn’t you, then you’ve lied to me already, and that’s an epic fail!

The Perfect Heart

A very good friend of mine Adrian sent me this poem about 4 years ago. It has stuck with me ever since. I am not a fan of a day where companies try and make you prove your love and raise the price of everything. I am a fan however of letting the people in your life know with simple words and a warm hug, how much they mean to you.

Thank you to the people who have supported me in my career, and in my life. I have learned so much from so many.

I love you Owl.

So for you on Valentine ’s Day I leave you with this poem.

The Perfect Heart

One day a boy was standing on the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful and fresh heart in the valley. A large crowd gathered and they all accepted his heart for it was perfect heart. There was not any mark or defect in it.

The crowd agreed that it was the perfect and fresh heart that they had ever seen. The boy was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful, fresh, and perfect heart. Suddenly, an old man appeared in the crowd and said,

"Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine?" The crowd and the young man looked at the old man's heart.

It was beating strongly. It was full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed, and other pieces put in. But they didn't fit quite right and there were several rough edges. In fact, in some places there were deep scratch where whole pieces were missing.

The people started- how can he say his heart is perfect? And so on. The young man looked at old man's heart and saw its condition and laughed.

He said, "You must be joking. Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect, and yours is broken and full of wound and tears."

"Yes" said the old man.

"Yours is perfect looking and I would never deal with you. But you see every scares in my heart represents the person to whom I have given my love- I tear out my piece of my heart and give it to them and often they give me a piece of their heart, I fit into the empty place of my heart. But because the pieces are not exact, I have some rough edges, which I appreciate because they remind me the love we shared together. Some times I have given my heart away and they didn't. So, I have some empty scratch. Although these scratch are painful, it stays open. Reminding me of love I have for these people. And I hope someday they may return and fill the space I am waiting. So, now do you see what true beauty is?"

The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks, walked up to the old man and took a piece from his heart and handed to the old man with his trembling hands. The old man took his gift and placed it in his heart and took a piece from his and placed it in the wounded young man's heart.

It fits but not perfectly, as there were some rough edges.

The young man looked his heart. Not perfect anymore but more beautiful than he ever saw. Since love from old man flowed to his heart. They hold their arms and walked side by side together.

I have been away for a long time and WOW have I really missed it. Today; I got to see about 250 people play in an outdoor spongy hockey tournament sponsored by Power 97, Warrior Hockey and Molson. (If you don’t know what spongy is, it’s essentially hockey, without skates. Yup, all the rules, all the ice, but not skates… and you use a sponge puck).

When we walked in the first person who I met handed me a beer and told me to have fun!! How can anyone not love Canada?!?! The bingo hall was filled with men and women, mostly men getting off the ice in -30 whether with beers in their hand! While hard rock played over the speakers and promo girls walked around collecting your empties!! Heaven for some! Definitely a good time for me!

There was one team that drove 8 hours from Thompson Manitoba just to play in the tournament! I suggest once in your life to head over to a spongy and beer tournament. It was a good afternoon for me and I can only image how much fun it was for the people that actually played.

Rena Jae from Power 97 told me she had never played and was wearing regular running shoes, her strategy was “standing close to one side of the net and waiting for someone to pass it to her “she laughs.

Friday night I hit up Motley Crue, because my boyfriend’s mate (Darren), who works for another radio station was driving through town on his way to Regina and we decided to show him a night on the town! Everyone outside of Saskatchewan calls it “The Dirty Vagina”... Classy eh! *Waves at Darren in case he reads this*

So here we are being greeted by the manager of Motley Crue backstage. He instructed us to put our beers down and said that Vince might play a song off his new record. (We all chugged our beers… haha! classic Canadian style, eh!)

Outside we went and I’ll tell you what; IT WAS BLOODY COLD!! We walked from MTS Centre to his bus, maybe 2 minutes outside and we were all talking about how f’n cold it was!! It was -32 Friday night. Think about that! -32!! Vince’s manager said “I’m from Vegas, this is crazy!!”

In the bus Vince was waiting for us while watching Seinfeld, we all laughed because it was the episode that George was wearing the puffy jacket. Rena and Casey asked him a few questions about his tour etc. Then he played us his new song. Rena and I asked him to sign a few pictures.

I will post the pictures when I get them. The show was good, I rocked out and the two guys beside us were rolling a joint! *Candace falls of wagon*

Anyways was a good weekend, I hope you’re all doing well.

I just got a copy of my feature with UMM magazine and about to read it over. Very excited about it.

My guys best friend.

You know when you are dating someone and they introduce you to their best friend, and there is that moment just before you meet them you think. ”I hope he or she isn’t a douhebag!”

Jensen (aka Button - if you don’t get the reason why I call him Button… You need to brush up on your Formula 1) and his girl Shannon spent much of 2008 backpacking throughout Eastern Europe. Most people when back backing in Europe head to Paris, Italy or France… not them! Button and Shannon spent their time everywhere but! They said Serbia was one of their favorite places to have visited.

There is something about people who travel… Sure I give everyone respect at first, but until you have strapped on a small amount of your stuff , jumped on a plane and decided to submerge yourself in to another culture, it something that is hard to relate to.

So these two had my respect from day 1! Needless to say; Button is a beauty and his girlfriend and I have also become fast friends and twitter lovers! me-->(@CandaceRae)

Dave and Button are among other things; writers. They are writing a screen play and have just put the last puck on the ice for their first draft.

Over a few beers (we do this a lot) Button and Shannon were telling me about the “Gong” they did last year. I had never personally heard of this term before: Basically they give something up for a personal amount of time… No not a day or even a week, but for a 100 days or more if you chose, the reason? Will power, self control… The usual. So I named it; ‘The Button Gong!’

You can give up anything you really want to know you have control over.
Button has given up alcohol and tobacco, Shannon has also given up alcohol!

Sure you can do a resolution, but this is just an act of ones will. Button states; “At any time throughout the year, just do it to prove your control.”

I liked it, and of course; decided to jump on it. Now you’re thinking: “YOU gave up beer? Well, don’t be silly!” I have not been back in Canada that long, and giving up beer would be like slapping Don Cherry in the face. But I decided to give up; “Puffing and Passing Marry-Jane”.

So the power of will comes down to me, no lighting up a doobie for me, not for 100 days! I’m not an addict, I don’t smoke everyday… but I do find in social events, or if I am offered it I will light one up. There was a time in my life (for about a year) that I was smoking a joint every night.

Like Button said; “It’s about the commitment to yourself…” bit of a Jedi Master he is.

So, if there’s something in your life that you would like to get control over, then get on “The Button Gong”, and let me know what it is you’re giving up! In the end we must be in control of our lives and this may be a great way to show how powerful your will is.

So Doobie, I will see you around…

BA: Was it hard to give that up or was the opportunity outside of that too good to pass up?

CR: Yeah, well, I was working for the party and the men's magazine. Because of the popularity my photo shoot, the magazine hired me to work about 15 hours a week to blog and talk to people and be the hostess of the website. I worked for the political party at the same time. All of that

went on for about 6 months and then the owner of the magazine told me they were opening an office in Australia. They asked if I would be interested in working there. I said yes - Australia! Let's do it!

BA: So, this is how you ended up in Australia?

CR: (laughing) Well, not at first. My paperwork had to clear in Australia so I could live there. So, I went freelance for a while and ended up in Malaysia.

BA: Malaysia? Why there? Had you always had a deep desire to live in Malaysia?

CR: Well, I was still working for the political party in Bermuda but they didn't need me to work in their office, my job had changed to just uploading the parties' content on their website for them, so they didn't need me to work in the office. I had been taken to Malaysia the year before to see my first Formula One race, and fell in love with the country.

BA: So, how long were you there in Malaysia? What did you love about it so much?

CR: I was in Asia for six months. It's a Muslim country, Malaysia and I learned a lot living there. The only way of living I knew was under the British Empire. You know, Bermuda and Canada are still under the British monarchy. Malaysia was different, that's for sure. Things we take for granted seem so hard there, but there are so many things I learned and loved about their culture. The key was to keep an open mind. We all have the ability to see the beauty, the traditions, the way of other cultures if we can accept and learn. I believe everyone should live for a few months in another country under a different government and political system.

Case has done a calendar, catalogue, posters and also coming later in 2010 is a website and blogs.

I did learn to drive and fix them!. I actually did a 360’s in the skid steer within 5 minutes of learning how to use the controls!

I'm sure most of us are sitting around today either hung-over or wondering what the plan is for 2010?!? Heck; maybe your looking for porn, answering emails, etc. But either way I am happy you ended up here!

The feeling that always hits me first in a New Year is; "Fuck, I have allot of credit cards to pay off!!" Yeah… that is a great way to start a New Year! Thanks Christmas. L

So I was looking at my blog and thinking, I have had this bugger for 4 years! 4 YEARS!! Though my first year of posting got lost when ‘Google Blogger’ did some change over! ** shakes fists**

I know I don't write as much as I used to but one of my commitments to myself for 2010 was too write and post more, so here I am!! J
My movement; "I Am an Earthling"! Which should be Our movement (meaning everyone should support it!), is something I'm truly passionate about! I feel like a major dink when I’m only posting random blogs asking for you to “vote for me” in some internet poll… It seems really pretentious, and am sorry if I ever come across that way. But it’s a catch 22, where the more this blog, and other projects I have on the go get more exposure, the more “I Am an Earthling” will grow!

So more commitment on my part to my blog, and everything I love on here and everyone who supports what I do.

So where do we start? Leave questions for me here? Maybe suggestions of stuff you want to see and want my charming opinion on!! J
An update on Playboy:

I was asked to test to be a Playmate and was flown down to LA and stayed at the mansion for a weekend! It was heaps of fun!

Mid December I received a call back and was given an offer with playboy.
Here’s my thought; In this case it really does means My Tits and Ass!
It's OUT THERE... forever and I can never take it back... For the rest of my life!! You, or anyone will be able to Google it forever!!

But as I posted to Mr. Anonymous on my last blog; The human body is beautiful and people should be proud, not ashamed of there body! It was also coming down to: Will I be “OK” with it tomorrow next year or in 30 years from now!??

Truthfully? Shit... I have no clue if I will be OK with something in 30 years from now. I do, and always have lived for “the moment” more then anything, and If I am not “OK” with this in 30 years… Then I will have to re-look at this posting!
So with that I have decided that for what Playboy is offering me… I'm going to do it!! I do hope that the very least, people understand where I am coming from and if you don't: Move along… There is nothing more to see here!!!

I have to ask any person who reads the above quote, when will we say enough is enough?

As I sit on a plane to fly half way around the world I ask that you read this.

During the time I was without access to the internet, I came to think how can changes REALLY be made? When will we all start to make changes? How can I help to make changes?

I have spoken to so many people lately, including my inner self, and there are so many who think hope is hard to find. It seems that life is more than just a daily struggle for most and just keeping our heads above water is a hard thing to do!

How can we all support each other and how can every person who reads this have a happier and better life?

As you all know, I eventually want to work in some form of politics where real changes can be made to make the world a better place. I don't want to just hope! I want to get actively involved and actually DO something about it! I don’t know exactly which soap boxes to stand on but I do know I want the best for all people on the planet and to have respect for everyone.

With the above taken into account, I want to start a movement. I am starting a revolution people! I call it - “I am an earthling"

I AM AN EARTHLING.

I want to remove the boundaries society creates between all people. Like John Lennon, I'd like religion and race not to be issues that create such animosity and gulfs between people. I'd like people to support one another's life and choices. If one is not causing physical or emotional harm to another person, then we should be able to listen to different ideas, accept them and their differences and get on with living in harmony.

Why does the human race kill? Why is there so much hate toward "the other" in society?? Is there not a way we can all find some common ground and live in peace and prosperity??

"I am an earthling”

I know it might sound ridiculous but I want to think on a scale of the entire world. Let's all be earthlings! Let's be a form of life that accepts differences and allows others to peacefully get on with their lives and let's strive for understanding between those who differ. Let us accept we are not the same but we are all equal.

We could ALL be EARTHLINGS!

I am an egalitarian by nature and I want the best for everyone, no matter what differences we have and things I may disagree with. I don’t want to live in a world of war, terrorism (in all its forms) and hate. No one should have the right to take another person's life for any reason.

Sure war makes the economy buzz but is there not another way to allow everyone the opportunity to be peaceful and prosperous?? Controlling the masses and stealing the natural resources of other countries is not the right thing to do in my opinion. Can all the countries of the world not share the wealth??

So with that I have decided to opt out.

I didn’t sign up for the kind of world we have now like many others I know. I did not sign up to live in a world of hate, fear, war, crime and racism. Why let this happen and why can't we change it ??

I am a person of the world. I am someone who can respect all ideas and thoughts as I would ask mine to be respected. Is there not a way we can change the thoughts of those who hate and strive for all to accept each other and our differences?

Do you believe in the right of people to worship their own God? Do you accept skin color is not an issue? Are you tolerant enough to have no problems with same sex marriage? Do you believe everyone has the right to be happy?

If your answer to the above questions is YES then YOU are an earthling and I ask that you support this by signing the petition I've created. If you are an earthling let other people know we want a change and we will not take things as they are sitting down. Let's stand up and try to change things!

I do not claim to know all the problems of the world but when I see the amount of killing that is being done because of the horrific thoughts that people create in their own minds and those of others, I know I want to change that. I don't want our children coming into a world like we have now. I see so much hurt, starvation and sadness the world over and it never gets better. Why is this so??

I was once asked in an interview "what would you do if you ran the world? Are you a model who really wants world peace?"

I'll tell you something. I joke that I would like to live on an island that had a Formula 1 track around it, all money would be removed and everyone could have what they wanted. We could all work together to enjoy life.

Where does all the hatred come from?? Does it come from the parents to the child? Is it society brainwashing people?? What are the reasons?? There seem to be so many possibilities.

I AM AN EARTHLING is my movement, yup a movement!! I don't want people to only say this and write about this but feel it too. You will support this movement if you are for the power of love, freedom and acceptance of "the other." You are an earthling!

Some of you may read this and think I'm being naive but I am tired of seeing the pain and sadness in so many people around me. I have a very good friend whose family and friends are being run out of their city because of political and criminal reasons. Right now I am selling nearly everything I own just to keep food on my table. Even when the world is in the economic crisis it finds itself in now, I want us to never lose hope and to be able to smile when life is hard.

"I am an earthling" I AM AN EARTHLING a movement of the mind. Let's remember to stop and be kind to others. Let's support each other and make this a better world to live in :)

I ask that you send this to anyone and everyone, I ask that you post it, blog it. I will be back on line in a few days to continue this movements- lets talk about government, war, feminism, hate and the control of the media and the obvious things that make us all want for better.

My dream has been to go to Hawaii since I was a kid. My mother went there 29 years ago when she was pregnant for me! So after my shoot for case in Australia I had to transfer through Hawaii!!! ( I had too) So....I decided to stay for a few days. If you have never traveled on your own, I highly recommend it!

Going to Australia was like going home, but going somewhere you have never been on your own...
